went to watch acjc mep concert 2007. hmm. ok some performances were average.The better ones were Dvorak's Piano Quartet in E flat,Op.87, Poulenc's Sonata for Oboe and Piano and Grainger's English Dance for Two Pianos 6 hands which was a local premiere.The rest were average and shaky.lots of pitching problems.well thats how i got by today.

I went to the ACS(barker) carnival today... got dragged down by several individuals.Well it was freakin hot and crowded and messy and hot BUT!!!It was great that i hanged out with the guys again.We have been planning this day for quite some time.We planned to go out after the carnival...and we went to watch TRANSFORMERS!Its the most freakinawesomeshitbagpieceofshithellofacool movie i have seen so far.And FUCK to those who say otherwise...If you are a guy and hate this movie...screw you! you are a fugly gay!WELL!

JAPAN TRIP Day 2!

Day 2

I woke up and found myself in someone else's room...with my legs on the bed, a sofa attached to the bed and some one's blanket on me.I had a good night(sleeping).What woke me up was actually Lukas and Gabriel talking really loudly.I realised i was late!I rushed back to Benedict's room(my room)and found him doing his make up already. SHIT! i quickly packed my stuff and went to bathe.We were to be in concert attire and assemble at the hotel lobby.We went to the bus and had a long long long omg long ride to the nara international cultural hall,1300 seater high class ok? In the bus, sleep camwhore sleep sleep camwhore bitching camwhore sleep....And we are there! We were assigned a room and we started unpacking the instruments. There was like bubble wrap everywhere, the room was in chaos.We rehearsed after acjc strings and that samuel tan(pipa) was doing fine(like finally).We had lunch and got change into the "mao" suit. We went to prepare for our grand entrance from the back of the concert hall when everyone was seated.We the walked down the steps of the concert hall.AAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH! japanese girls started screaming...i wouldn't say its me that they were screaming about.then we seat and watch a 120 guitar and mandolin ensemble play..freakin good! haha then we were up next performance went well particularly amazing grace which was super emo and winds cresenti.Some one screwed up!(you guys know who) for chun jiang.After the perfomance,we went to the bus yet again for a long long very long even longer ride to the ryokan( traditional japanese inn where the is a hot bathe place where everyone is naked together). sleep camwhore sleep bitching camwhore lots and lots of sleep and we are there again.We we to our rooms and changed into yukata(traditional japanese clothing) and went for dinner.We were completely naked except for underwear while in the yukata.Dinner was suki yaki. damn damn good! its like steamboat. damn nice! the beef in japan is like god-like! and totally owns singapore beef! After dinner, i did the most exciting thing on the trip so far. Bathe naked with the barker boys...would it be hell? i went ahead and it was damn funny.imagine all the boys were looking at each other "oi you take out la!" haha and all of us stood for fifteen mintues not doing anything.then no one wanted to take it off.so....i was first...then everyone followed...the bathe was damn good...the water was freaking hot...with all the steam and stuff...wow nice!after that we went around the garden to camwhore abit before going back to our rooms.ken and a few others came to our room to play.then we had so fun with each other(only we know) and we did the same to benedict.then we shifted to ken's room for the night we watched tv together and talked.imagine eight boys sharing one room...haha but it wasn't chaos.we watched the most exciting tv program some gay fag stuff and bbc(billy's boot camp) laughed our asses off to sleep.The guys said i snored.haha i can't help it.well thats day 2...stay tuned for more! i love these guys! acsbrco ftw!!!

JAPAN! Day 1

Hey follow fans and readers of my blog! ahmm....I'm back from Japan as you all know and I would just like to share a little of what I have done over there.I have thousands of pictures,however I can only post some...I will try...By the way,the trip consist of ACSBRCO(GLAM!),ACJC Strings(OKAY),MGS Strings(1 girl very cute) and PLMGS Handbell(ERM?).The post is going to be long for once.

Day 1

Well I arrived at the Singapore Airport at around 8.30pm to have my last dinner with my family before I leave for Japan...I was freaking early my flight is at 1.10am.I met the other boys at booth 6 where we did our group check in.Everyone was looking pumped up and ready to leave this island.When we were on the plane most of the people went to bed cause it was going to be a long flight.You know me...I didn't sleep.I was enjoying the food and wine which was served at 4 am!I had the company of movies and games(Pokemon) damn was it fun i was level 12!I also played battleship and reversi with Marcus Chee *** and i thrashed him flat.However this idiot beat me flat when we were playing poker...I lost $10(sin).What a waste to lose to him...tsk tsk tsk.When we were about to land we freshen up ourselves by brushing our teeth in the toilet.The weather is japan was cooling and refreshing.After we landed we went to Kaiyukan aquarium.Its freaking big and has a wide variety of fishes and sharks and penguins and otters and cute seals!!!There was a very very very huge tank in the middle of the whole building which fits a whale shark!After the tour,we went for lunch buffet!You actually take sticks of food and smear it is some marination then dip it into breadcrumbs then dump it into oil which was in the centre of the table.Then you eat!I was damn full.We went to walk about in the shopping centre for awhile before leaving for Tezukayama high school for the welcome party!I was pretty nervous as I had to play San Liu on the Liuqin.Lukas was on Ruan,Ian Yang was on cello and Irfan on Yangqin.The performance went quite smoothly except for my first note!We went to tour around their school and I was terrified.The girls in the school were pointing and pointing and screaming and giggling.I felt like an animal.Some even tried to pounce on me.They are so horny...We left the school for dinner at some random hotel.Dinner was Italian buffet.The guys happy sat on the tables and made ourselves comfortable while the PLMGS girls were sitting on the floor.We went back to our hotel Rhiga Royal Hotel after dinner and stocking up on cup noodles for the Glam party(illegal)at night.I left my roommate Benedict and hanged out in other guys room playing cards and all.Then the MDM(DM of ACSBR)came and ask us to go back to our rooms.But that did not stop us.We contacted through phones and send secret messages and some of us met in Lukas' room to play!Well his room was big.I slept in their room as Benedict was having some old women massaging him.I didn't want to bother and I prefer sleeping with the other guys.I remember sneaking around the corridor knocking on the doors.The other guys kept quiet.All I wanted was some cup noodles...One more thing the toilet bowl and wash butt one! Damn cool! That briefly sums up day 1.

hey guys...i'm back home from steamboat...it was damn good...but i'm so full now i can puke...It started out with me waking up at 2pm today...i did nothing at home and i was going nuts...i took out my pager and press the secret button...then all my classmates got my message and all assembled in school...after zheng yi's temptation, we decided to go eat steamboat...that was about 9pm...we ate for 3 hours...and played who can eat the most prawns...however zhengyi was not on form today,so we did not take this time in the record.He got bored again and start throwing peanuts at me.i took up the prawns head and treatened him...it didn't work.We all drank beer and eat and chatted till 12 and i'm home now...feeling like a pig...

Hey guys i'm back...lets keep it short.
Yesterday was my grade 9 exam.I had no confidence in doing well this time because i had very little time to prepare for it.I could barely memorise the score.The worst thing was the fire alarm rang when i was playing half way which distracted me and i forgot my score.I told the examiner that i would start playing again.She gave me a discontented look.I got nervous.I wanted to end the song quickly and when it did, my strings were abit loose and not in tune.

However,i you thank GOD! For some weird reason, you let me get a distinction. Well GOD has his ways...=]

And i want to congratulate the rest of my friends who took part in the exam...zixin,jessly,zhongxiao,peiyan and many more i know you people but i might not remember your name...sorry tell me next time.

SO i head out to meet rekkha after my exams for my history group BBQ at laurel's. We celebrated our success in our project presentation where we had to come up with a radio broadcast programme touching on classical symphonies...Dr Kan loved it! Weee!
Jeremy Koh , Grace , Rekkha and me(foursome) together with Anthea , Jane , Laurel and Richard celebrated the occassion. The rest did not make it as they had something on.Well Laurel did alot of cooking...thanks boss! Grace and Richard cooked too and the rest of us pretty much just ate...especially me.I brought vodka some random mango flavored one...and i found out that Anthea can really drink alot...tsk tsk tsk.

i finally bought my clothes for chinese new year.with the help of my dear rekkha and her partner anthea/auntie.anthea wanted to buy something for her friend...boy,friend.she suggest buying boxers from topshop since i wanted to go there.when we wear browsing through the colourful boxers,i notice that anthea was standing quite some distance from the shelf.then she told me to check the size.her hands were like 1 cm away from the boxers when...boom! she re-tracted back her hands.then me and rekkha burst into laughter when we found out that anthea did not dare to touch the boxers which were actually sealed in plastic.
the dynamic duo then search high and low for suitable clothes for me and then boom!"jonathan! this is so you!" so i went to try it out. i loved it and passed them to them while they search for more.then rekkha came with this nice looking button shirt.when i tried it on i felt a little tight but i thought it looked fine.i modelled for rekkha and guess what,she says she can see my nipples out loud.stunned,i pointed the middle finger and quickly changed back.rekkha if you want to see me naked we can always do it at home you know(indian with british accent).then i bought the clothes i wanted and we moved on with our journey to find the perfect shorts.then that auntie anthea brought us around,me and rekkha thought she know where to go in the end she took us one round around parco bugis.haha.after buying shorts at 77th street,the shop where anthea wanted to see my waist...oh come on not infront of my wife.i went back for ensemble which was a test of my patience haha.then my class went to the museum again!but i found out that this time wasnt very nice compared to the other trips.i rushed back to school to help play for master monster dr dedric wong de li composition exam.i felt that ee wei's piece had alot of meaning and its very refreshing to hear her piece..haha i went for supper with bingshun, sarah, ah beng and jin ying to celebrate jin ying's birthday which is next week! yeah happy birthday... and now im at home rotting... chao peeps!

Today is performing class again.Sigh...I went to meet Sok Mun,Jun Ru and Jason for lunch altough I did not take anything.All of us left the stall furiously and Sok Mun started cursing the Indian workers at the prata stall.They did not return their change and that stupid old man still dare to act dumb.Oh wait, he is dumb!Then we went to the library to return books and on the way we crapped around talking about shit and pee.

Performance class is super long today! 3 hours plus we have Singapore arts scene after that its like 5 hours in the small place.Wondered how I survived.Performance class will be cancelled next week anyways I am not going.I got a battle to go to.I hope I survive.Today I had totally no mood to play my piece.I just forced myself to play the whole song and i quickly left the stage.I am so screwed!I thought I did badly but the others say overall I was okay except that I am abit stiff.I have this bad habit of stiffness when it comes to playing and when I am nervous.Anyway I was quite displeased with one of someone's comment today.The person actly compared me to someone I know.I hate comparison comments.It stinks!FUCK!

During Singapore arts scene lecture, I sat alone for half the lesson until Kai Xing came and saved my life.I just realised that without Qing lun, Sok Mun and Richard in class,I feel out of place like I do not belong.They were not here for lesson today.It has already been a month since I came to this school and this class and I don't know most of the people in class.MADNESS!Very few people bothered to introduce themselves or try to get to know thier new classmate.Seriously I feel very rejected from this class.I really don't know what to do.Wei Kang told me he knew everyone in his class by the first week.Whats wrong!AM I THAT AWFUL?

On friday night,I was in school practicing my ruan and waiting for my classmate Sok Mun to finish practicing because her roommate went back to Malaysia.So I practiced for about an hour then I kind of got bored.So I as usual rolled on the chair a few rounds around the corridor then went back to practicing.Then Jeremy Koh came out went his bag and was getting ready to go home.He hardly practiced for an hour.I guessed it was not his day.

I called my teacher, wanting to ask if she is free to have lesson with me on Saturday as I am going to be rehearsing in the recital studio for competition.She did not pick up. I called at least five times.I thought that she was angry with me because I did not go for lesson the last week.I was damn sad and worried that she does not want me anymore.It has happened before where she scolded me on the phone till I cried but that was when i just started learning with her.I am also having mixed feelings and even doubts about my teacher.I have been hearing from others alot of bad things about her.But I really dont think its true.I also always hear from Wei kang that my teacher is a bitch.What can I do?My teacher has always been so good to me and recently I feel that I get less care from her.Not that I am jealous.

Instead of sending Sok Mun home, I went to play dota with Lian Wei, Richard, Andy and Qing Lun.I am so sorry Sok Mun! I thought that after a stressful day, all of us deserved some fun.But I was fucking wrong.Qing Lun pissed me off so much that I did not talk to him for at least an hour.He had a bad day during his lesson earlier on and he vented his anger on me. ME LEH! We were on the losing end of the game he kept saying "aiyo jonathan why like that, aiyo aiyo!". FUCK I almost punched his face.Then when he was on the winning team, his mood became better.FUCK YOU QING LUN! We went home after that.

SATURDAY
I got up early and I recieved a sms from my teacher! It stated come at 2pm for lesson.So I got ready ate some crap and left the house.I forgot to bring my ruan home yesterday so I went to school to get it before going for lesson.Wasted like an hour of my life.Then when I arrived at her house I thought I was late. I wasn't! Xiu Ying was still inside.When it was my turn, my teacher told me to sit down first and tune while she went to get something.When she got back,OMFG I got a long lecture from her almost an hour.I think she enjoys lecturing me,she like to do it for long hours and if I cry even better.But this time I didn't.

So I had lesson for two hours! GOSH was I tired. Then she ask me if I am going to watch the International Competition for Chinese Orchestral Composition.I said no I have no money.One of our friend won a prize in this competition,Wang Chen Wei.Plus, Eric Watson my aural and music technology teacher won 1st prize.WOW! My teacher took out ten dollars from her wallet and gave it to me.She told me to go buy a ticket to watch. -o-" I was so touched. I called Wei Kang to go watch too, he likes to compose too.I left for PAYCO for their practice.I'm helping out as guest musician in their upcoming concert.

When I got there, they told me that I had to solo infront of the orchestra.They say its tradition for them to do it before competition. FUCK to the power of ten! I was not ready la! I tried to cook up some excuse "Im just a guest musician!".FUCK ten mintues later I was on the platform performing.I got nervous again but this time it was better then performing class.PHEW~ After the terrorizing performance, I went to watch the concert.It has been a long time since I sat at the audience seat.When I to my seat, I saw my long lost friend sitting infront of me. Hi Thomas.
Then when I look to the right.OMG! Its Mr. Adams!

The concert was quite exciting I must say. Chen Wei's Sister Island, Eric Watson's Tapestries: Time Dances and Law Wei Lun's Admiral of the Seven Seas were my favourite the rest were like crap.Especially the one when the conductor started screaming as part of the effect.eeeewwww!After the concert,the SYCO peeps reunited again for supper.As for Thomas you left after you agreed to come!Eating with them was so fun.Especially with Rit Xu Kai Xiang and Maestro Wong De Li Decric~.They were fucking funny I cant help but play along.We must do it again!

After rotting there for quite some time,we decided to leave.We tried hailing for cab but we waited damn long.Some of us became like zombies trying to flag the cab.After about half an hour and lots of photo taking we finally got a cab!I am HOME!I opened the gates and door and FUCK to the power of whateva you can power! My uncle's dog is here! She is one FUCKING BITCH! She barks at everything and shit and pisses like 10 times a day! FUCK you man can't you be lik my cute dog! Hi NIKE! Faster go home madam. If you dare piss in my room, no tv for you bitch!

I am not angry with Qing Lun anymore and I will never hurt an animal,especially dogs...lucky you bitch!

8 december 2006, a day that is slowly arriving...the day when I either gain fame and glory or piss and shit.Yes the stupid National Chinese Music Competition is back.This time I am in it.How lucky of me.I am super duper freaking shrieking not ready for it.My rehersals is this sunday and I haven't reach perfroming standard.FUCK! I am so stress and I don't know what to do besides pulling my hair.Then one person change my way of thinking.Kai xin! At lunch today, she gave a long speech about how should a performer behave when performing.She ask what should the first thing I think of when I perform.I said play well for the audience.Then she said NONONONONONONONONONO! "You should in you mind thank the audience for coming". I was like wow...Salute to you Kai xin... should talk to her more about performing...By the way i was very impressed by Wee Kiat's perfomance yesterday.HAHA anyway our school vocalist all so good hahahaha...especially our year ones...muhahahahaha.
I am feeling abit stress now... better get back to practicing..haha see... I am still in school... and I use breaks to blog. Today i got knocked down by a double decker bus and died.How I wish that was true.Today I woke up at ten and was preparing to go to school.I think i was still half asleep when I was picking my clothes,I mean what was I thinking?During lecture,Kai xiang said I looked funny and evelyn took out her camera which she uses to take nice and funny things.Guess which one was I under.After i got dressed i rushed to school to find a room to practice and warmup.The day I had dreaded had finally arrived.Today is performing class day,where you sit down in front of the class and perform a solo piece after which you get fired at.Isn't it exciting! I was practice in the room when Jane came in and said "didn't you see my flute on the piano?'',then i said "no?''.I got up and let her use the room because she was there first I guess and if i cause and trouble, she would have called her boyfriend to stick his trombone down or up my ****.So I was demoted to practice at a small space with no air-conditioning which was next to the stairs.After a while I could not take it and I went to find Qing lun and we went to perfroming class together.I was so freaking nervous when i was up there but no one could tell from my face because it always looks the same -_- . But unfortunately, my fear was reflected on my solo piece.While everyone thought that it was okay, I serious think I stink and its not my best and i kind of got depressed and stuff so weak.I needed a recharge.Qing lun, Jason, Jun ru, Richard and me went to drink bean curd and soya bean from a famous store.Then we starting crapping and gossiping about people in nafa.4 o'clock! time for Dr eleanor Tan's singapore arts scene lecture. While we were crossing the road qing lun pushed me and said he had safe my life and wanted something in return.Funny thing is, there was no car.Then all of us starting pushing each other stating that we had save each other until we got to the lift.The best part of Dr eleanor Tan's lecture was her first sentence.She said she cant project her voice very well today and wants to cancel class.Then I was like weeeee!But unfortunately, she went on taling for about half an hour before letting us go.Well its better then nothing.Now I really didn't know what to do I dont really like going home so early and I really had no mood to practice so a few of us went to destress.Qing lun ,Richard, Wei kang and me went to play lan games (dota). Instead of destressing I got damn fed up cause we lost two times and I think its because of me. Then Richard went for rehersals and Qing lun left. So how many people are we left with?Two me and Wei kang.We started crapping on the piano.He forced me to sing and play,but I cant.Then I called my mother to scold him over the phone.Then he got pissed and called his mother to scold me on the phone then both our mums came and fought outside nafa.Oh it was ugly,both mums lost of cause pulling most of their hair out.Then me and Wei kang started to laze around near the lift.Then Sok mun came and we all crapped around then Sok mun left and Edric came.Then Alan came, then Zheng yi came, then we all started crapping together.I think this is quite fun.Then one by one every one left and so did we.Then at 11 plus, I walked to the train station and then...I went home.What an exciting day at nafa.I still don't know alot of people in my class.Am I that scary...I really don't bite.Oh and I broke my D string on my ruan.Alan kept laughing...I wonder why...

This is my first post in my new blog. I really hope I have the time everyday to sit down and reflect on what I have done because I really need it. I am finally in NAFA(Nanyang Academy Of Fine Arts) doing music(performing). I don't know if what I have done is right for me,but something just tells me to carry on. Its my second week in this new environment and I am still trying to adapt. The only people i come in contact with are the chinese instrumentalist,those who sit in the first three rows of the right side of the lecture hall.I cant think now...history burned my brain cells...I shall carry on tommorrow...
